Credits, plan allowances, overage pricing, and rate limits.
dOCR bills on a single unit — the credit — shared across extraction and screenshots. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance; usage beyond it is billed as overage.

What counts as a credit

On the Free plan, requests are blocked with 402 once the allowance is
spent. On a paid plan, usage past the allowance continues and is billed as
overage at the per-credit rate above. Usage is shown in the dashboard and resets
at the start of each billing period.
Per-document limits
These limits apply to documents you upload for extraction:

Documents exceeding these limits return 422. Screenshot rendering has its own
per-option limits instead — for
example a navigation timeout of up to 90 seconds.
Rate limits
API requests are rate limited per organization. If you exceed the limit you'll
receive 429 Too Many Requests — back off and retry. Need higher throughput?

Billing states
If a payment fails, the account moves to past due and access is paused until the payment method is updated. Cancelling a subscription moves the account to cancelled at the end of the period.
